Job Description

The successful candidate will be accountable for creating and implementing results-focused B2B content and creative assets that drive brand awareness and interest to  produce inbound lead engagement. This role requires a mix of B2B content writing expertise, creativity, analytical ability, and a keen grasp of innovative demand generation marketing strategies and tactics across various marketing channels and platforms. 

Position Responsibilities

  • Plan, create, proof, edit, publish and optimize B2B demand generation and lead generation content and campaigns across owned, earned and paid media channels including websites, blogs, social, email, webinars/podcasts, print/promotional, and events
  • Collaborate with leadership and peers to closely align marketing and sales initiatives to meet brand awareness, lead generation and revenue growth goals
  • Use Google search console / Google analytics tools, SEMrush and related content planning, production, analysis and performance optimization tools to manage all demand generation and lead generation marketing operations
  • Compile campaign and content performance reports to measure results and trends; analyze and act on data findings to continuously improve content performance
  • Research and act on rapidly evolving B2B marketing trends, applying best practices along with innovative tactics to execute demand generation, content marketing and lead generation strategies
  • Ongoing skills development and self-directed learning in HubSpot Academy and other select training forums

Performance Objectives

  • Sustainably increasing traffic and engagement on all channels, properties and profiles
  • Sustainably increasing inbound lead engagement from highly specific target audience segments 
  • Top-of-funnel to mid-funnel lead progression using “smart content” for sales engagement and retargeting 

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Business or related
  • 3-5 years of verifiable work experience in B2B content marketing, social media marketing, and email marketing using search-optimized content standards to generate top-of-funnel inbound leads from highly specific target audience segments.   
  • HubSpot Marketing Hub certified (required) 
  • Strong preference for candidates with agency experience
  • Experience with marketing strategies and content for B2B startups and small businesses

This position is based in the Austin, Texas* metro area. We are a mostly remote / home office work operation, with only 2-3 team collaboration work days per month in our offices as well as occasional all-hands events and holiday celebrations.
